Designed for couples looking for a more personal and relaxed experience, these one-to-one appointments offer the opportunity to explore our beautiful countryside venue with the guidance of our dedicated weddings team. During your private tour, you’ll discover our elegant ceremony spaces, stylish reception areas, and our collection of 28 country-chic barns and houses, perfectly suited for unforgettable wedding celebrations and extended stays with family and friends. Surrounded by the peaceful You’ll also have the opportunity to sit down with our team to discuss your plans in more detail, including pricing, availability, accommodation options, and how we can help bring your vision to life with a wedding tailored entirely to you. Whether you’re newly engaged or ready to secure your perfect venue, our private appointments are designed to give you dedicated time, inspiration, and expert guidance throughout. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink on arrival, and couples who secure their wedding date on the day will receive complimentary toasting drinks for their reception. Get ready to step into the buzzing world of beekeeping with our hands-on Beekeeping Experience Workshop & Afternoon Tea at Retreat East, set beside our very own beehives! This unforgettable session includes a warm welcome and safety briefing, followed by fascinating insights into bee biology, hive life, honey production, and their vital role in our ecosystem. You’ll suit up in protective gear, get up close with the hive, and learn how we harvest and use natural bee products. After your adventure, unwind with a delicious afternoon tea and take home a jar of our homegrown honey as a sweet souvenir. Please wear trousers and closed-toe shoes, avoid strong perfumes, and note that this activity isn't suitable for those with bee allergies. Join us for an unforgettable Winter Wonderland Christmas Party Night! Kick off the evening with a glass of welcome fizz at 6:30 PM, followed by live music from Peter Hepworth and the chance to purchase extra drinks from our bar. At 7:30 PM, indulge in a delicious three-course dinner with tea, coffee, and mince pies, then hit the dance floor from 9:00 PM for a night of disco and dancing!
