The availability for accommodation shown online is live and totally up-to-date. If you can’t find the date you’re after, please email reception@retreateast.co.uk so we can add you to our waiting list.
One night stays are available in selected barns Sunday - Thursday. All other accommodation are bookable on a minimum of a two night stay
However, if you can be flexible, please search for another date.
We expect you to relax at our retreat and wear whatever makes you comfortable. Our restaurants are informal places, so come in whatever makes you happy and comfortable.
Dogs are welcome at Retreat East, we love them! Please be mindful of other guests who might not love dogs as much as us and keep them under control at all times. We ask that dogs be kept on leads within the communal areas & around other guests. Limited to two pets per barn and 1 dog per Shepherd Hut.
We charge £25 per dog which includes an Earthbound dog bed, dog bowl and pooches dog treats.
Please note, The Little Warren, The Little Sett, The Sett, Little Burrow & The Little Hive are not pet friendly.
Children and babies are welcome to stay at Retreat East all year round in selected barns.
These include The Farmhouse, The Cow House, Two Bedroom Burrow and The Stables for up to two children/babies or The Piggery & The Hayloft for one baby.
Breakfast Service
- Breakfast is served within The Great Barn each morning between 8:30am to 10.30am
Lunch Service
- Lunch is available Monday to Saturday between 12pm to 2:30pm
Evening Service
- Dinner Monday to Saturday is 5:30pm to 8:30pm
- Sunday dining from 12 noon to 7:30pm
Retreat East is the perfect location for a private party, The Rose Room can hold up 25 boardroom & 30 theatre style and can be used for private dining, baby showers or small family gatherings. To hire this room please contact reception@retreateast.co.uk

Breakfast is served in The Great Barn between the hours of 8:30am - 10.30am. We provide a complimentary continental breakfast for all stays. Guests have the choice between a continental or cooked breakfast. Click here to view the menu.
Guests can check in from 3pm, however, you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and relax in The Great Barn, use the spa facilities or start exploring.
Check out is by 11am or a later checkout can be arranged for £30. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please enjoy the surroundings all day. We can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but stick around and let us know your plans and we will try our best on the day.
Please note due to the nature of our historic barns some spaces are not accessible, but most rooms have wheelchair access. Please contact us prior to your stay to ensure we are able to accommodate your needs.
Please note our rates stated are at a starting from price and change throughout the year depending on the season. All stays include a continental brekkie & full use of our spa facilities.
During the summer no cars are allowed on the site, please park your vehicles in the complimentary car park on the entrance to Retreat East. Guests are welcome to drop off their luggage prior to parking their car in the car park.
During the months of October - February guests are allowed to park their cars onsite.

All complaints are to be sent to customercare@retreateast.co.uk should you still not be satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, the senior management team will review the response and have the ability to overturn the decision of the manager.
Guests are welcome to visit our organic farm garden, which is situated by our wild meadows. If you would like a tour to see what we’re growing and the process behind it, this can be arranged via reception.
